Marketing Coordinator Job Description

The basic role of a marketing coordinator is to manage all daily activities of the marketing team or department. All aspects of the marketing process will be under his direct supervision. The duties of a marketing coordinator is limitless but the basic and the most common ones are involved with collateral development, sales programs, customer satisfaction analyses, product development and service programs. The coordinator will be the one responsible for assisting and delivering marketing information in behalf of the whole team.

To become a marketing coordinator, you must have studies a course in marketing and must have previous experience in promoting and selling. Good written and oral communication and presentation skills are a must. The candidate for this position must have knowledge with the type of business the marketing team is involved with. Since marketing involves dealing with various people, good social and customer service skills are also required.
